Not your average yoga class


·        Yoga on the Race Street Pier
    Every Sunday morning through June, yoga enthusiasts of all levels can enjoy a yoga class out on the beautiful Race Street Pier. Dhyana Yoga, an established yoga studio with five locations, will be running these FREE Soulful Sunday classes. Donations will be accepted. The Race Street Pier is located at Columbus Blvd. and Race Street. The Pier has convenient parking in nearby lots, and can be easily accessed by public transit.

Yoga in the Park (With Mark Nelson)
·         As the weather grows warmer and the days get longer, there’s nothing like practicing outside! Starting the first week of June, we once again head outdoors for our early morning Yoga in the Park classes. So if you love the idea of starting your day with focus and movement, breathing in the fresh morning air. (Rain dates will be held in the studio. If it’s been raining or looks like rain, check at the studio before heading over to the park.) Sign up Here.
o   When: Tuesdays and Thursdays through August 1

  •  6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
o   Where: Classes meet in Narberth Park on the kids’ basketball court, near the playground. There is no need to pre-register.
o   Cost: Single Class: $16
 Discounts are available for students and seniors
  • 5-Class Pack:               $75                  $15 per class
  • 10-Class Pack:             $140                $14 per class
  • 20-Class Pack:             $260                $13 per class
Outdoor Yoga in Radnor
·         Hey Yogis, if you are looking for an outdoor yoga class on the Main Line, look no further than Radnor Middle School. Lulemon, a yoga-inspired athletic clothing company, is hosting free yoga classes every Wednesday at the Radnor Middle School field. The free, hour-long weekly classes are described as “a complimentary, fun, all-levels vinyasa flow taught by the greatest teachers in our community.”  The classes will last through August 28th, which gives you seven more chances to soak up some free yoga in the sun this summer. Sun-deck Yoga
· What’s the best place to get an aerial view of the city while enjoying a 45-minute yoga session? That would be on the sun deck at 1500 Locust, an apartment complex in Center City that hosts yoga sessions on Sunday mornings. If you visit nawrockfitness.com and sign up as a client, you can sign up for one of the Sunday classes for just $15 to “be part of the 45th floor outside,” as the website explains.
o   When: Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Yoga in the Vineyard

The aging of wine is a noble process that can serve as a metaphor for healthy aging of a human being.   Join us at Penns Woods Winery to enjoy a 60 minute gentle yoga class with MERRYoga in our vineyard followed by a food and wine pairing.
